Mission Statement

The Washington Brain Injury Support Coalition (WBISC) strengthens bonds between facilitators and community support groups and helps develop new groups throughout the state. We pursue ongoing education to share the latest understanding of brain injury in order to encourage and inspire survivors and our community. We collaborate among facilitators through monthly Coalition meetings and networking with medical, government and educational agencies identifying the latest brain injury information and resources. We advocate at the legislative level with an experienced voice, providing authentic perspectives of our communities’ needs.
